…And she’s back!

The thing about writing, is that it taps into the creative part of the brain, that special place unaffected by day-to-day practical chores and logic. Imagination is allowed to run free and it’s an exciting escape from reality. So it’s really hard to write when life gets in the way – as I’ve discovered over the last eighteen months.

My writing journey was going really well, nine books published, and in May 2024 I won the prestigious RNA Festive/Holiday Award for my last book Only For Christmas. Since then, there have been a few road bumps. Illness, bereavement, and caring for elderly parents – issues which required all my attention and didn’t allow head space for writing. The creative juices dried up and I paused my writing. I didn’t panic, though. I knew from past experience that it was a temporary blip and things would improve, and they have.

Life isn’t perfect, whose life is? But I’m back writing. I’m currently editing my latest story The Love Dilemma, and I’m in discussions about a Spring 2026 release date. Thank you to those of you who have contacted me asking about my next book and eagerly awaiting its release, it means such a lot to me.

At last I can say, the next book is coming soon!
